The unique artwork on canvas by the Miaz Brothers The guy depicts a young man portrayed in a half-length view against a background of green tones.
The Miaz Brothers are known for their innovative approach to portraiture, using airbrush and acrylic paint to create enigmatic and evocative images with blurred contours that challenge our perception. Their paintings provoke different stimuli and associations in each observer, allowing for infinite interpretations without ever letting themselves be completely defined.
As art critic Jacopo Perfetti writes: "In a world where increasingly sophisticated algorithms are able to map the entire world population through automated facial recognition systems, the Miaz Brothers transform the subjects of their portraits into an enigma, granting them an increasingly precious gift: anonymity".
The Guy was created in 2020 using acrylic paint on a canvas measuring 98 x 130,5. The work is signed on the back.
