The work of Solomostry Neon 01 is a unique work made with marker and neon on a wooden board painted.
The protagonist of this work of size 150 x 200 cm is one of the night monsters that the urban artist is used to represent in his works. Solomostry - a Milanese artist who began his career collaborating with several Milanese techno clubs - depicts the faces of nocturnal creatures with monstrous features, whose eyes stand out above all, on bright backgrounds. In Neon 01 emerges the strong presence of the line in the background and the absence of chiaroscuro, characteristics of his production.
During the opening of the exhibition Signum at the Wunderkammern gallery in Rome, the street artist Solomostry involved the public in the creation of the work. Solomostry, in fact, placed beside the table markers and markers with which viewers could write on the wooden surface. Only later the artist added the blue neon in the shape of eyes.
The title of the personal Signum refers to the value of the sign left by each of us with our passage in the world.

The artist Solomostry was born in 1988 in Milan, the city where he began painting his first graffiti around the year 2000. In 2007, he started making sets for some techno clubs in Milan, collaborations that became a real source of inspiration for his works. Solomostry, in fact, usually depicts nocturnal creatures with monstrous features, whose eyes stand out above all. The artist adopts an impactful and easily recognisable style, determined by the strong presence of line, the total absence of chiaroscuro and a garish colour palette. Through a gestural expressiveness that may appear hard at times, Solomostry depicts his nocturnal creatures with a desire to investigate the vast emotional spectrum of the human being, which is often not far removed from that of his monsters.
The artwork is delicate and requires a custom-made wooden box to protect it during transportation. Delivery to EU countries takes 1 to 3 weeks from the time of order.
