In this work of dimensions 90 x 130 cm the cornerstones of Solomostry’s works emerge: the strong presence of the line, the total absence of shades, the predilection of bright colors and spontaneous gestures. The Milanese artist also drips the acrylic, as shown by the flows on the canvas.
Starting from 2007, the artist Solomostry begins to create sets for the Milanese techno clubs, collaborations that will prove fundamental for the production of his works. In 2007, he started making sets for some techno clubs in Milan, collaborations that became a real source of inspiration for his works. The artist adopts an impactful and easily recognisable style, determined by the strong presence of line, the total absence of chiaroscuro and a garish colour palette. Through a gestural expressiveness that may appear hard at times, Solomostry depicts his nocturnal creatures with a desire to investigate the vast emotional spectrum of the human being, which is often not far removed from that of his monsters.
