With this work, Obey criticizes the devastating impact of big oil companies on our planet: the inclusion of iconic elements such as the drilling tower and lit lighter, in fact, represent the destruction caused by man's greed and uncontrolled use of fossil fuels responsible for the global ecological threat. To amplify the meaning of the message, the artist chooses an iconic palette, characteristic of his style, of red, beige and black tones. Shepard Fairey's work not only criticizes big corporations, but also incites viewers to reflect on their own role in the system and take a stand against environmental injustice. As a street artist, Obey has always stood out for his ability to combine a strong social message with an appealing aesthetic, making this work an effective tool for protest.

The work measures 152,4 x 111,8 cm and is framed.
