His works are true Subvertising - a combination of the English terms subvert and advertising - which consists of the 'creative vandalisation' of billboards, inviting viewers to reflect on the massive use of advertising and commercial images in modern society. Linguistic subversions in order to unmask the mechanisms of capitalism are a further mainstay of Hogre's works. In the murals, he usually sign off with the drawing of a fly, his unmistakable logo.
