The Miaz Brothers Skull work is a canvas signed by the artists and created in 2023 for the exhibition Reality: Optional. Miaz Brothers with the Masters of the 20th Century at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome. The work Skull represents a semi-lit skull rising from a black background without ever reaching a degree of sharpness enough to distinguish its edges. The impenetrable atmosphere of this Miaz Brothers canvas is uniquely rendered through the masterful use of airbrush and acrylic paints. With their distinctive style, the Miaz Brothers artists lend the work an aura of mystery that stimulates the viewer's perception. Indeed, the artistic duo's intent is to not just represent the observable, but to induce the viewer to curiously seek a possible interpretation that goes beyond mere visible perception.
Skull is a unique work belonging to the Old Masters series that measures 150 x 132 cm.
