Wipe Out in Hong Kong – Invasion Guide 06 by Invader is a prestigious guide to the artist's interventions in Hong Kong, published in 2015 by Hong Kong Contemporary Art Editions.

The street artist Invader is globally renowned for his pixelated mosaics inspired by the aliens from the video game Space Invaders. Over the years, the artist has conceived various types of tools – printed guides, maps, and the FlashInvaders app – capable of guiding enthusiasts through unique itineraries to discover his works. Throughout his career, Invader has "invaded" numerous cities worldwide, including Hong Kong. The urban artist has returned to the Chinese metropolis seven times since 2001.

The publication showcases photographic material and in-depth insights, particularly focusing on the invasions of 2001, 2002, and 2014. The book's texts are written in both Italian and Chinese.

INVADER - BIOGRAPHY

Invader, an internationally renowned street artist, was born in 1969 in Paris, the city where he still lives and works. In 1998, after finishing his studies at the École des Beaux-Arts, he began to develop his Space Invaders project, which consists of the creation and posting in public spaces of creatures inspired by the aliens from the Arcade Game Space Invaders. In order to reproduce the pixels of the video game's graphics, Invader uses small ceramic tiles inspired by the ancient mosaic technique. Ravenna, city of mosaics par excellence, is one of the 65 cities that the artist Invader has reached with his urban interventions.

The French street artist has also created Invasion guides, maps and an app to help fans find his works. Invader has exhibited his work in major museums such as MOCA in Los Angeles, the Musée en Herbe in Paris and the HOCA Foundation in Hong Kong.

In 2010, the Wunderkammern gallery collaborated with the artist in the realisation of 'Invasion' in Rome.
