Honet

Born in Paris in 1972, Honet is a French street artist and illustrator. His journey in the world of graffiti began in 1988, and since then, he has rapidly made his mark in many European cities and beyond. Honet draws his inspiration from cult films, fairy tales, and science fiction, introducing an extremely personal style that combines elements of gothic illustration with a romantic touch. His artistic body of work is infused with references to exploration, literature, historical elements, and mysticism, embracing esoteric imagery. Through representations such as skeletons, clowns, monstrous creatures, deceased female figures, and cryptic texts, he paints a world that seems to exist solely in the depths of the imagination. Whenever he performs outdoors, he chooses to safeguard his creations in hidden places at the heart of cities.
Honet has established significant collaborations with world-renowned companies, including Prada and Ruby. His works have been featured in reputable magazines like Fact, WAD, Clark, and Voxer. He has also carried out public interventions for prestigious institutions and important festivals, such as the Ministère de la Culture in Paris, the Fondation Cartier in Paris, the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn, and the Bien Urbain Festival in Besançon.
